These terms apply when you use serpentineresonance.com or book a session with Resonance, operated by Serpentine Yoga LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them.

Our sessions are for wellbeing, not medical treatment

Resonance offers sound healing and Kundalini meditation for relaxation and wellbeing. Sessions are not a medical or psychological treatment and do not replace care from a doctor or therapist. Nothing on this website is medical advice.

Your health and participation

  • If you are pregnant, have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, a pacemaker or other implanted device, tinnitus or sound sensitivity, a heart or respiratory condition, recent surgery or injury, or any physical or mental health condition, you must consult your doctor before attending and take part only with their approval. Please also let us know before your session so we can adapt it where possible. It is your responsibility to seek medical advice; we do not assess whether a session is suitable for your health.

  • You take part at your own discretion. Move, rest or stop at any time if something does not feel right, and let your guide know.

  • Sessions involve sound and vibration at varying volumes, breathwork and gentle movement.

Inquiries and bookings

  • Sending an inquiry does not confirm a booking. A session is confirmed once we have agreed the details with you in writing and received a 30% deposit of the agreed amount.

  • Prices, timings and cancellation terms are shared with each quote and form part of your booking.

  • If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will let you know at least 48 hours before your session, except in emergencies such as illness, and offer you a new date or a full refund of anything you have paid.

  • Cancel at least 48 hours before your session for a full refund or a new date; cancellations made later are non-refundable.

Venues and equipment

  • Your space: for sessions at your home or venue, you are responsible for ensuring the space is safe, clean, suitable for the group size, and that you have any necessary permissions to host it. We may delay, adapt, or stop a session if the space is unsafe.

  • Personal belongings: guests are responsible for their own belongings. We are not liable for any loss of or damage to personal property during a session.

  • Our instruments: gongs and crystal bowls are delicate and valuable. Guests must not touch or play them unless invited by the facilitator, and children must be supervised around them at all times. The client who booked the session is responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any instrument or equipment damaged by them or their guests.

Free resources and website content

All content on this website, including text, photographs, recordings, the Journal and free downloads, belongs to Resonance unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to use our free resources for your own personal practice, but please do not copy, resell or redistribute them without our permission.

Journal articles are for general information. We aim to keep them accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that they always are.

Our website, including Journal articles, contains links to third-party websites and services, such as research studies, publications, Instagram and Spotify. These links are provided for information and convenience only; they do not mean we endorse the linked site or its content. We have no control over these websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or how they handle your information. Limitation of liability

By booking or attending a session, you acknowledge that you participate voluntarily and assume all risks associated with sound healing, breathwork, movement, and meditation, including any physical, emotional, or psychological reactions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resonance, its founder, facilitators and partners are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, cost or expense, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of this website, your reliance on its content, or your participation in a session.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the session concerned.

You agree to indemnify Resonance against any claim arising from information you withheld about your health, from not following medical advice, or from not following the guidance given during a session.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Dubai.
